# Spring Strategy Co

> Spring Strategy Co is an Australian strategy consultancy based in Sydney. We work with leadership teams and boards across Australia and New Zealand to develop strategic plans they genuinely own, and to build the discipline to execute them. All our consultants are master practitioners of Strategy into Action (SiA), a five-phase methodology refined over 35 years.

## About

Spring Strategy Co was formed in 2024, bringing together Spring Business Consulting (founded by Jenny Haddad in 2010) and consultants from Quest Worldwide. Directors are Jenny Haddad and Tina Cameron.

Across their careers, our consultants have worked with more than 70 organisations in Australia and ten countries overseas, across sectors including mining and resources, insurance and financial services, food and beverage manufacturing, infrastructure and transport, education and early learning, not-for-profit and member associations, and professional services.

Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia. We travel to client sites across Australia and New Zealand, including regional locations, and deliver virtual facilitation and coaching.

## The Strategy into Action (SiA) methodology

Strategy into Action, abbreviated SiA, is a five-phase methodology for developing and executing organisational strategy:

- **Mobilise** — establish the case for change, agree scope, and engage the people whose ownership will determine whether the strategy is delivered.
- **Think** — examine the external environment and competitive position, test long-held assumptions, and develop genuine strategic options before committing to direction.
- **Plan** — convert strategic direction into a prioritised plan with named owners, defined measures and realistic timeframes.
- **Deliver** — establish the operating rhythm and accountability that turn the plan into action, equip leaders to lead the change, and cascade the strategy through the organisation.
- **Review** — measure progress, capture learning, and adapt the plan to current conditions.

Spring Strategy Co consultants are master practitioners of SiA. The methodology addresses a persistent problem: research from Harvard Business Review, McKinsey, Deloitte and Cascade consistently finds that around 70% of business strategies fail, predominantly at execution rather than in the strategic thinking.

Typical engagements: a two-day facilitated strategic planning offsite with preparation and a documented plan; a three to six month full strategy development program including stakeholder consultation and cascade; or ongoing execution support through quarterly facilitated review sessions.
